BEAM Consortium wins place on prestigious government management consultancy framework

(London, UK) January 2018 – The BEAM Consortium, a strategic partnership of consulting practices with deep sector expertise, is pleased to announce that it has won a place on the Crown Commercial Services’ (CCS) Management Consultancy Framework (RM3745). The framework enables a wide variety of public sector organisations to procure value-for-money management consultancy.

The BEAM Consortium comprises four core partners:

Baxendale, a boutique management consultancy focused on generating positive societal impact;
Lexica, a healthcare planning and infrastructure consultancy;
Achieving for Children, a not-for-profit children’s services provider specialising in direct service delivery as well as improvement consultancy, and:
Mutual Ventures, a specialist management consultancy passionate about better, more sustainable public services.

Uniquely, the Consortium offers a social supply chain. Across the four partners and nine sub-contractors, nine are SMEs, seven are public sector spin outs and everyone is a social business.

Covering the period 21 November 2017 to 03 September 2021, the Management Consultancy Framework (RM3745) was established to create a multi supplier public sector framework agreement for the purchase of management consultancy. It comprises eight lots and replaces RM1502 “ConsultancyONE” which expired 15th December 2017.

The framework is estimated to be worth £2-3 billion over four years and is available to public sector organisations nationwide.

All suppliers on the framework have gone through a rigorous, OJEU-compliant selection process. They have had to demonstrate that they have the capacity and capability to bid for projects as well as the expertise and knowledge to fulfil the lot requirements.

The BEAM Consortium is available to deliver services for Lots 4 (HR), 5 (Health and Community) and 6 (Education).
